Hello new to the tribe.
My husband played for the Washington Redskins under George Allen, in the original RFK Stadium, 1974-1976. He caught Joe Thiesman's first career NFL touchdown pass. TIMOTHY LEE PAULUS was a rookie with the "Over the Hill Gang". His ankle was broke by Mike Bass his own player in a scimmage game then blew out a knee doing squats while rehabing said ankle and that is well...the rest of the story! Tim attended Kansas State where Steve Grogan was his Quarter Back, who went on to play for the New England Patriots. Tim was a track and field guy all through his schooling years his best quarter mile (440 yd dash) was 45 seconds! That is one fast white boy... Back in the day 6'4" and 220 pounds he was light and tall before Wide Receivers were tall. IF THERE IS ANYONE WITH ANY INFORMATION OR MEMROBILIA, PROGRAMS, NEWPAPER CLIPPINGS, ETC. IN THIS TIME PERIOD THAT MENTIONS MY HUSBAND I WOULD BE SO GRATEFUL TO CONNECT WITH YOU!!
