After watching the Bengals manhandle the Skins...I think we need to start thinking about next year...If Vinny Ceratto is reading this, we need to cut Brunell loose, trade Ramsey and bust our ass to sign Drew Brees in the offseason when he becomes available. It also helps that Cam Cameron (former Redskins QB coach) is the Chargers offensive coordinator...Mark and Patrick just ain't cutting it!!!...Just one man's opinion..

Mon, November 15, 2004 - 3:34 PMBrunell needs to be cut, but Ramsey has a lot of potential, especially after he is reprogrammed by Gibbs to erase everything Spurrier taught him. And Hasselback has a lot of potential, too. Brees would make a great starter that the other two could learn from.
I was watching the game yesterday, and while I was glad they pulled Brunell, I felt so bad looking at the guy. I mean, this is probably it for his career, and no matter how much he has sucked, it is still sad that he has to go out like this. It makes me want to do a documentary on the handing over of the torch between the old quarterback and the new. -

Tue, November 16, 2004 - 8:29 AMWhat scares me about Ramsey, is he doesn't see the field well (makes alot of bad decisions) which he could improve in time..But, the main thing is he very stationary and does not move well in the pocket. I think that is a major factor in today's game..With Jansen out I don't think our line is playing up to par and I think he will be running for his life..He reminds me of Mark Rypien a little..When Rypien had solid line in front of him giving him plenty of time, he was awesome ( he had a cannon for an arm too). But, as soon as he felt that pressure it was all over...I feel for Brunel but he's had a great career (not to mention his
8 million dollars he got this yearl)
